Ford 3600 3 point problems

]I have a problem with my 3 point lift arms. They are in the up position and stuck there. When I start the tractor, the pump gets extremely hot, so I am sure it's because of extreme pressure. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go? It's been sitting that way for several months, and I have even tried pushing down on them with my front end loader with the tractor off and the drift levers in the down position and it still won't budge.

Sounds like a bad hydraulic valve that isn't allowing the arms to drop.

Would that still be able to hold pressure for several months?
