I started calling the local New Holland dealers today getting prices on adding the remote hydraulics. I've read several threads on this subject regarding pricing, but I haven't found any remote valve kits as cheap as some say. Locally for 1 remote valve kit it's $520, 2 remotes is $730. I've seen some say that they should be around $250 or so for one. Are my local guys high or are there some online places i should be looking at? Not many people talking about this series of tractor on this forum so it's hard for me to tell what to expect when i call the dealer.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Let me know where I can buy the $250 remote kits. Next time you hear that, lean on them to produce an actual source. It won't happen.

Single remotes for the Class 1 Boomer was $255 (parts only unless added/ordered with a new unit) a year ago. I'd say for your tractor they may be more.

Remote kit price is dependent on what machine they are for. However, the prices seem in line for what they would cost on a TN.

Not an expert on this, but it depends on the machine and the amount. The remote a class 1 tractor can have isn't too bad, but on the TN I believe the first remote is almost double the 2nd and others go for.

Once in a while there is a remote eBay. Fairly rare and never for my machine. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I should have said that I was referring specifically to a remote kit to fit the 3930 under discussion.

I know, I was trying to clear up any confusion for the people who price them for different tractors and think all kits should be/are the same price. Take care.

I appreciate the input. Sounds like the remote for my tractor may just be expensive. Oh well. It will be a while before I need it anyway. I plan on getting a wheel disc sometime in the next few seasons, but other than that I don't have many plans for the remote.

Thanks for the advice. I have actually called and talked to Ken before I found the 3930. He is a heck of a nice guy, he told me to come on down and if I liked bluegrass to bring an instrument and we'd pick a little. My kind of tractor store.

I'll give him a shout when it's time to buy the remote, or any implement for that matter.
