Ok, I finally found the right disk. This is what I came up with for a weight system. I'm lucky because I work in an area where we have a fab shop and was able to get the supplies. However any welding or fab shop could make this up pretty quick I would think. The weights are from Wal-Mart and cost 10 bucks each and weigh 25#. I think this will be a nice system because they are easy to install and the weights can be used for other things. I have used them on my back blade for example.

Both set ups look great. As an engineer, a diagonal support bracket going upward that helps support the weight might be good. I don't know if it is necessary--I guess it depends on the strength of the welds.

I saw your setup a while back and liked it. I looked for the rectangle ones too but had no luck.
