Frozen DEF

Good to know, yet I've never seen one on any RAM 1500 here in southern Ontario, I guess people don't know how/when to use them.

Mine is the eco diesel I don't know if the gas motors get them

I don't think the gas engine gets it, only the diesel

There has been some speculation that with the 2025 CAFE standard of 54.5 mpg,gasoline engines may be run so lean that NOx will become a problem and DEF would be needed for NOx reduction.WOW! it could happen!

I've heard that too.

The funny thing (to me) about driverless cars is they take a huge amount of power (wattage) to run the computers - as in causing the mpg to go down.

Maybe I'll just buy a horse, or drive old motorcycles while wintering down-south.....
