Man I owe someone a BEER! I thought the engine in my beloved tractor was going bad at only 80 hours. I cranked her up and started hearing a squealing noise at 2k RPM. The noise sounded like it was coming from the timing wheel. Then black smoke at high rpms. I thought a bearing went bad and was making plans to test out that 5 year warranty. Saw this post, check out my air filter and it was completely clogged. Cleaned the filer up and she runs good as new! Thank you guys!
gc1720 wont start, whistle noise and lots of balck smoke.
