My dad knew John Schnabel way back from the lumber industry. He really doesn't think Parker is an any danger of using up the inheritance
Rather than focus on the blunders, I like to view the show with envy. How many among us would not like to set off for the wild to play with big toys hoping to strike it rich?
If you caught the "Black Friday" behind the scenes show, Parker borrowed 150g from grandpop and was rebuilding the bridge to bolster his cashflow. He also grew up around heavy equipment which shows with how comfortable he is around it.

When you can't run one camp why try it with two? I think the show stinks. They keep saying they are in it all together, but one man weighs the gold behind closed doors.
Still more realistic than that Ice Road Seatcovers.
Speaking of sponsorship......ever notice how one season Carlisle had Craftsman tools and banners all over the shop and they always zoomed in on the Craftsman batteries they were putting in the trucks.
Now they keep towing all the transports with new Eco Boost and F-350 Powerstrokes. And they always zoom in on the emblems and say.....thank God we had this new Ford to pull that out.
LOL! Give me a break.

Did you see last night the backhoe bucket that broke? Never heard of that happening.
I guess that "Swamp Loggers" would be the show that is closest to reality. Even their new equipment often breaks down. My fiancee cannot understand why I am always running to the store to get some hose, fitting or hardware. All she is familiar with is her car, and modern cars have gotten very reliable. If you grew up in the days of "tune ups," points, condensers, chokes and 3000 mile spark plugs you know what I mean.
