Had to recover from a corrupted quicken file. Even backups were acting funny. Finally found a good backup, didnt lose too much data, but updated to quicken 2016 from 15, as it had some glaring bugs in it. Got everything all caught up.

Good morning. The gorgeous late spring weather looks to be ending for us, the sky has a yellow tinge and I can see the patio starting to darken as the first rain drops arrive. All fields are still quite soft underneath but dry as a bone on the surface. It was well past dark when I shut the Iseki off last night. There is nothing quite like a forecast for the weather to take a turn for the worse to make anyone with a tractor want to squeeze the most out of every last bit of daylight.

Balsamic vinegar and oil has been a favorite salad dressing for many years, and my blood isn't dust yet.

Are you certain, or am I the only one who has trapped a finger, got a blood blister and not pierced it until a few days later, only to find inside red dust ? Vinegar blood !

Good morning all. 56 going to 69 today, Was going to cut my tree that leans over my neighbors trailer yesterday but it was raining. 80% chance today as well. O well we'll get it some day.
Had vinegar on my rice and beans for lunch yesterday. We used to eat our cukes with vinegar too and enjoyed vinegar and fresh onions on our green beans, we called them snaps. My wife's family likes vinegar on cold roast beef.

Will have to see what happens today, No plans but I am sure I will get into something before the day is out. Ed

A rainy 55, with 71 on the way. More rain, off and on, all week.

I priced a few new trucks over the internet yesterday...wow on the features and double wow on the prices. It's been 15 years since I was "truck shopping." I also looked at the Costco Auto purchase process and it looked pretty good...they connect you to local dealers that have pricing Costco negotiated...not sure if better than I could do on my own, but heard back from one salesman with a price much less than I expected and less than True Car suggested. Of course I haven't seen it on paper, yet, so there may be some add-ons. Anyone familiar with the Costco program?

Thanks. I finally took a generic Claritin and not sneezing and coughing all the time. I did read last week that a study has shown a negative relationship with this drug and others like Benadryl to Alzheimers. I never use them, but caved in yesterday. Still stiff and bruised, but feel very lucky.

Poured second cup of coffee. 47° with rain this morning. Heading to 56° with rain most of the day. Helping wife with getting house ready for weekend company.
wngsprd, Glad you are feeling better. My BIL buys cars using the Costco plan. He has bought 2 cars that way. Honda and Toyota. He likes the added perks for parts and service. Plus the gift card. I have not bought a new car is so long. I have no idea what they cost new.
Good Morning All.

Anyone familiar with the Costco program?

Yes I am familliar with it, but have not used it. I did sign up and a sales man called but that is about as far as I got - no pricing was given. I have used Costco's travel program and it was good. Along with the best possible price on a cruise with all the ships incentives they also threw in a $90 on board spending voucher which was waiting on the bed when we got to the ship. Some reviews for the auto program say you can get the same deal yourself but I like the idea of no hassels.

Good morning! 73˚ cloudy chance of rain. I got my can of DeOxIt delivered yesterday and took the dash apart and treated the connections. The tractor has started every time since that one day but my wife still thinks I need a new switch - we will see.

Kyle have you been to the Sears in College station - it looks like they are very low on inventory and my close soon. There might be some good clearance sales soon. The Sears parts/repair across the street from the mall is shut down.
