Wow, so much to catch up on.....
I have spent enough time in TX to be aware of snakes. The only place I saw them was at Dons.
æ³¥on is your place named Snake Heaven? You seem to have lots of legless creatures around.?br>
Farmer ... itç—´ a Texas Thing.

. We live with all our friends ... unless they insist on getting into places they don稚 belong.
Nah, just one, he moves around a lot by energizing in the transporter room.
I have started taking all my snakes and dropping them off at Don's. I told them if they slither back, they could get lead dead. So far, so good.
Need to pour second cup of coffee. 39ï½° with light rain this morning. Heading to 69ï½° after morning rain. Got all the limbs picked up and put on
chipper pile yesterday. Neighbor never texted back about his tree limbs. Going to work on cleaning up garden pond today.
Tuesday and yesterday we had more snow overnight. Here is a picture taken in downtown Milford, MI. Tuesday morning at the upper millpond.

Prayers for those in need.
Good Morning All.
Ron, my buddy that just moved to Dayton Ohio texted me that it hit 83F there.....??? It was 82F in College Station at that time...???
The first experience I got of this "culture" was when my wife's aunt came walking over in just a bra and shorts-- in a way, coming from the US culture of modesty except on TV or at the pool, it was semi-shocking, not that the sagging boobs were so exciting. :-D But the reality of heat and no airconditioning in the summer means that the definition of what is modest gets adjusted down appropriately.
It is nice though being more "natural" with the wife in the garden.
At the church I went to in Atlanta many men showed up in coat and tie during the summer. Not happening here. You'd die of a heat stroke. Appropriate Sunday dress during the hottest month(s) is khaki shorts and collared short sleeve shirt. I'm surprised the priests survive in all their vestments.
Haven't figured out for sure what I'm going to do with the hydraulics. At least the problem of the leaking valve or cylinder I'll fix, but the rest, some of the advice I got is contradictory. In any event, the tractor works, just not perfectly. Tomorrow I'll finally tackle the big pile of dirt if it doesn't rain. The guy who sold it to me has got the bale/hay fork attachment almost done as well, so I can move spoiled hay out of the barn and make a big compost pile with it and mulch the potatoes.
Hope your recovery with your knee is speedy.
Uhmmmm, were you and you're wife gardening about 9 months ago per chance???.... (You don't have to answer my cracky joke)....
Don, I was driving on 21 between Dime Box and Lincoln and I hit a swarm cloud of some kind of bugs that just about coated my windshield. Not bees, not june bugs, not love bugs. They were in a small cloud about the size of my barn. I thought about stopping and buying a jar of honey and leading them over to your place to see if you knew what kind of bug they were.....but the honey guy wasn't there.
We are a chicken owning family now. We bought 4 chicks and they are eating and pooping a plenty. I told the family we will name them all derivatives/synonyms of "poop".
Thanks for the "zero" CT score comments. I did find out a down side to it. The amount of radiation is like a 3 compared to a standard chest xray being a .02. So like 150 times more. Then to top that, I had to have a GI barium swallow scan due to my esophagus constricting. It registered a "6" on the radiation scale....NOT GOOD.
My 2 girls are having to take standardized tests in school this week. The oldest took 3 and said she "ace-ed" them. The middle kid with autism took 1 and actually finished it. She is surprising us all with talent on loan from God. She has her good days and her not so good days.
Drew, did I miss a post about you deciding on a new car? I'm surprised that something could sway you from the Subaru, it being so low maintenance and all wheel drive. Quick story, last weekend I was coming west on our main blvd here in town and a little dog came running out into the center turn lane. At the same time I pulled along side it from my direction, trying to coax it over, an AMG 63 Bi turbo mercedes had stopped while driving from the other direction. The little dog was confused and scared. Fortunately, 2 girls got out of a small SUV and called it and it went running straight to them and jumped into their arms. Me and the MB driver just gave each other a thumbs up. His 6 figure car and my 4 cylinder Altima. LOL... Life is good, my daughter was surprised that I would stop traffic and risk it for a little dog in a 35 mph zone. Got me some daddy brownie points and lived to tell about it.
CW, cool pic of bullwinkle. You wouldn't see that in my yard if you lived down there. Neither that snow either.
Trash. We seem to have a lot of it. We fill up 1 large trash can with wheels that gets hauled away weekly. $37/month ouch! plus I take oversize or junk items to work.
Prayers for all in need....You're like family.
