Good Afternoon,

Paul, what a idea teaching your grandson to fly ! How many doors that opens up for him down the road !

It’s interesting that only one of our three kids took advantage of it. His aviation experience, (corporate, charter and major airline) was a good career move for him. (Along with an MBA).
He tried along with me to get his siblings interested, even just as another note in the resume, but they were not interested.

Good morning TBN!!

16 right now and only going to make the 30s under sun. Looks like we may get some snow this weekend for the 1st time in three years. Of course panic ensues around us. We are good to go :)

Nothing much yesterday except move junk from one place to another!
Dog got his walking time despite the cold and wind.

NHBX prayers for you and yours. I lost my sister about a year ago. Unexpected but ruled natural. It's is heartbreaking. She was about 4 years older then me.

Today will probably be repeat of yesterday

Everyone have a great and safe day!!
Good morning! Hope today goes smoothly for you and maybe brings a little something different than yesterday. Stay warm out there, and have a great one!

The plowing only took 2.75 hours today. More snow and they are talking lake effect for tomorrow.

I plow at 1900 rpm and use the bucket most of the time and the back blade for a little bit on my driveway. I use 3.5 US gallons of fuel in 9 hours of plowing. I think my straight pipe theory is working.

Good evening all. 43ºF for the start, fog, light breeze. Light wind, Fog lifted but not overcast, High temp was 48ºF at 12:01 AM, low temp forecast for 36ºF at 11:59 PM. Got a trace of rain, serious rain starting mid-week. Operator issue with alarm this morning, missed setup and pre-service prayer. Did attend and help with tear down and breakfast with crew. Went step daughter's church. Got wheel barrow and wood wagon cleaned out, then filled with more wood, then got fire started. Watched some football, napped, and made meatloaf for dinner.

Good morning,
19° now highs in the mid 30’s partly cloudy today. Winds SW 10-20 mph.

Yesterday was a conserve energy day, the biggest accomplishment was a 3hr nap.

Grocery shopping this morning and not sure what else.

LS continuing prayers for you and Dona

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe, healthy and warm
Prayers for all

Hot coffee has been poured. 17° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 33° with partly cloudy skies and high winds. Got about 50% of planned conserve energy yesterday. Neighbor came to see what I have been up to lately. Showed him my Pin Attachment. Hauled it over to his place so he could finish welding. Other than painting. That part of project is done. Still need to make pins with grease fittings. No rush do not need to use that tractor until ground starts to thaw. Another neighbor brought me some fresh caught Walleye. It is what I will be cooking for my dinner today. Going to try and get the other 50% of yesterday's conserve energy in today.

LS, special prayers for Dona and you.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

31 going to 51.

Ken sorry about your burst pipe. Understandable...our weatherman said this has been the 6th coldest January on record. I'm dealing with another plumbing issue, too.

LS, prayers for you and Dona. Good to hear from you.

Ron, never eaten walleye, but have wanted to try them. Our state is doing a good amount of stocking of them in certain waters, and saugeye, so maybe I'll try to catch one.

good morning all
another nice sunny day like yesterday, high around 40
no plans this morning other than having a very interesting chat with service mgr
of Ford dealership who now has my broken down car. The fact that they had just changed both belts and the
antifreeze, and now I'm overheating, well that's a bit suspicious.

woke up with very sore neck, will need to wear my collar today. In cold weather it's actually nice.
Monday morning, end of January, time is flying by
but if days are getting longer and warmer, (y)

Ron, can't wait for pics of your finished project. Am I right in that you are building the pin adapter you can buy
from Kubota for a zillion bucks? Are you putting a "JD style" bucket on or something else?

Linda, welcome to Good Morning.

Morning all!
17 going to 33 with sun today.
Insurance tow truck didn't show on Friday as promised. Hopefully today.
Keeping the stove full and playing in the shop. Wife asked for an 8 inch bowl to hold fruit. Started with a chunk of apple. Kept cutting and turning off chunks trying to get to good wood! Ended up with a six inch round. Scratch that. Changed to a piece of walnut. Got it hollowed out and outside turned when it exploded into a bunch of pieces!! Hidden crack I didn't see. (that sure puckered my shorts!) Grabbed a piece of cherry and now just have to put on the finish. Wish me luck.

Did get a small project finished in between. A nice piece of red mallee burl I turned into a dish.
burldish01.jpg

Not sure what I will get done today. Post office trip for sure. Maybe some ice cleanup. Hopefully get a walk in if the streets aren't to wet. Still need to clean the stove really good including chimney. Supposed to warm up Wednesday or Thursday so will tackle it then.
Time for coffee #2!
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
Prayers for those ailing!

Linda, welcome to Good Morning.
Drew, converting a brand new Kubota Quick Pin Adapter for B3030/LA403 to fit a B2910/LA402. Brackets are 3” narrower and pins are 1/2” closer together. Kubota no longer sells the pin adapter. Everything is now SSQA. But I have 2 buckets, snowplow, pallet forks and a 3PT adapter for FEL that all fit the pin adapter. Not going to spend the money to covert them to SS.

22 outside right now, heading to upper 40's. Good for melting!
The icicle is over, lasted until around 3PM yesterday, maybe close to three feet long. Time to get the downspout back up. LOL.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe, stay warm.

Mostly, congrats on getting caught up. Snagglepuss has been sleeping in garage every night while cold outside, where she gets food and water. She want's out in the day, even when cold, but if she comes back to the door wanting in, she gets let back in.

Sat night I got the email back with the turbotax download link and activation code. I run turbotax on my old (prior) laptop, and limit the time it is connected to the network. Download went fine, when I started to install turbotax, it needed to update a windows component (visual C++), and it hung during that update. Finally had to manually force a reboot. The reboot forced a windows update. It took 3 1/2 hours for the update to finish. 3 1/2 hours of waiting and waiting, with the message "don't turn off the computer". After that, took about 30 minutes I finally had turbotax ready to start a tax return, but it was 1 AM at that point.

Up early today, just dropped to 19 deg outside, both geo units keeping up. Wife even turned up one a degree.

Drew's Ford service debacle reminded me while I never bought another Ford after my 1988 F150. The local Ford dealer did me wrong, breaking more stuff than they fixed. That truck was nothing but Fix or Repair Daily, a vehicle true to the name.

Good morning, the low is 26 and going to a high of 28°F. Wind 25 gusting to 34 mph. Snow at times heavy. So far 1/2".

I may go out and plow this afternoon, depending on how deep it is. Or I may wait until tomorrow. With the winds there will be drifting. I think all my people are pretty safe from drifting, but we'll see.

Have a safe day all
