Gooseneck with a single dually axle?

I texted him about it. It doesn't have a weight rating plate on it and it sounds like he may not have the registration either.

As I said when I started this thread, I happened upon this trailer looking for a new to me trailer. You would be surprised at how many people claim a single axle landscape trailer with ramp gate is a " heavy duty" trailer.

Makes me wonder what their idea of light duty is? Red Ryder wagon?

No idea, I said that I needed to know how much it was rated for as I didn't want to be put out of service for weight and he replied "No weight rating, you should pass"

We have a Kauffman 6x10 3500# (yes, 3500#, not 3000#) rated landscape trailer which is much heavier than most I have seen, for a single axle trailer, it is heavily built.
However, it is a lightweight trailer next to a "car hauler" or "skidsteer hauler" trailer.

On CL, anything "heavy duty" means either they strain to lift it, or can't lift it.

Even the little 4x4 HF trailers are "heavy duty."

One ad showed a photo of the coupler rating to prove it was a 5000 pound capacity trailer.
