Bob,

What was your experience that you think you'll need more power? Often the limiting factor on compact tractors is traction, which is more related to weight.

If you need more power, then really step up, get past the compacts which offer relatively small power boosts even on the larger models and look at a JD 210 and work up from there. You will get lots of power, and most importantly really heavy duty loaders and shells made out of some thick steel.

Doc come on up to the M series if you want more power. You can justify it with your acreage particulary if you put a cash crop in. You can't beat Kubota for reliability and market value. I had a good laugh last night as my wife and I were spraying the back 40 when we saw our neighbor winching his Deere on to a low boy from our local green dealer. He sees our M9540 running around and he just stands still and glares until we are out of his site. This guy is so old he has a like new Horse-drawn disk harrow in his lower barn... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Probably more power would only cover up my lack of skill as an operator. I am asking it to do more in one bite than it can do. My fault, not any weakness on tha part of the machine.

I do need AGS (not R4s) due to the muck and moisture. That would allow the power to be used on the front end and not watching the tires "spin".

Wonderful machine.

I still want more power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
