First you said you can transport the load with a set of forks (no lids), now you need two?

One lid is the minimum, two is excessive in many (but not all) situations. I can move any log pile faster with my one lid grapple than with my two lid grapple, any day. I have both and speak from experience.

Just one. How many thumbs do you have total? I have one lid on the left side of the grapple, and one lid on the right side of the grapple.

No need to stabilize a single load twice.

I could transport the load with no lid, but I would have to take a couple attempts at getting it balanced and if I bump into another tree it knocks it off. Please post pictures of both of you grapples. Very likely a biased comparison.

Can you drive two tractors at once? No need to stabilize a single load twice.

I have seen a YouTube video of a guy plowing a large field with several small tractors. He ran between tractors and turned them around at the end of the row.

That would be cool to see. Here is my little used dual lid when spankin' new. I don't have a pic of my single lid handy.

The tines on that grapple are too long and reduce your lift capacity and breakout force. That is more like a skid steer grapple.

I like the grapple. It looks like it would work great for moving lots of brush or cut firewood. I don't need lots of breakout force on a grapple.
