I like it!

Shortly after taking this pic, I moved a whole brush pile in one bite. It handles boulders with ease. I haven't tried de-rooting with it yet, but it's done everything I've asked of it with style.

No, I doubt they'd be any worse off than any other grapple. The tine spacing is around 7".

I am so jealous of you guys that have a grapple. I just showed some of the pics to the red head and she said, "what are you waiting for?" I'm like, What??? Looks like one just might be in my future! I'm feeling lucky now.

Have you had any limbs grab your hydraulic lines and mess them up?

They're not even exposed to the 3 sections that are open between the SSQA brackets.

This is a red maple bush.

And this was a 2" stump of something - I'm not sure what. I cut it years ago, and it got in the way of my grading the rocks so I pulled it out and was surprised what came along for the ride out of that little thing.

I used the grapple to drop these in the row as pictured. I then came back and cleaned up the line a bit.

I love this thing!

Found another good use for the grapple!

Loading and unloading the stump grinder in the truck, not enough room on the trailer for it!

If you grapple brush long enough, especially if you are doing more than simply moving piles around, eventually some "stick" will find its way to either tear a hose, pop off a coupling or knock a lever.

In about eight years of pretty aggressive grapple use, I've had one hose damaged. My Millonzi grapple has zero protection for hoses or cylinder. While driving the grapple into some brush, a stick wedged itself up around the cylinder and snagged the hose right were the JIC fitting enters the cylinder. It bent the hose it so that it leaked from the hose/fitting junction. No biggie to replace (although I had to do it twice as I cracked the first replacement when I installed it-- never knew before that JIC fittings should only be tightened gently, unlike SAE fittings).

A grill guard and grapple cylinder guard are certainly useful and having the hoses long enough to have a bit of slack/give (controlled with a bungee to keep them out of the way) can help too. However, nobody should be shocked if a particularly vicious stick manages to evade your defenses. Part of the cost of doing grapple business.

Here's a new use for a grapple: Clamped a Rail Road tie in it last night so I could pull up my well pump.

Used the grapple the other day (or rather, let my dad play around with it, I was the ground guy).

We moved some logs and chipped some brush, all in all a good day (despite finding water in my fuel and having to drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel).
