Grease Questions for Kubota with Loader

Don't forget the front axle pivot either, according to the Kubota manual remove the plug and put grease in the zerk forcing the old grease out.
I lift the front end off the ground when hitting this zerk so the grease is more prone to going into the wear point.

Good idea ~ I will give this a go (y)

I found that I has one pin on FEL that would not take grease, determined zerk was good and not clogged, and channel in pin was good.... Evidently there was a bind of pin where it contacted sleeve of lift arm and effectively sealed grease channel... Changing angle and height of FEL relieved the problem and pin took grease fine.... So its not always pugged zerk or clogged grease channel....

I have an Mx5400 about 2 years old. I was having starting problems with it. I found if I operated the forward reverse peddle I could get it to start. As it turns out there a fine point in the peddle adjustment that if not in the proper place prevented it from starting. I worked it with pumping the peddle “work around” for a couple of months until it got harder and harder to start. I contacted the dealer and a Tech came out made an adjustment nas been fine ever since. Could be what you have as well.

I have several things to ask about.
1. My Kubota L3710 has an L681 loader. The forward/reverse pedal is causing the tractor to fail to start. I am told it needs greasing. Is there a zerk down there somewhere? I haven't been able to find it.

2. I'm supposed to grease the loader control lever, but I lifted the boot and saw no way to get grease into it. Can someone advise me?

3. My understanding is that I need moly grease for the loader. Messick's has Kubota 70000-10401 moly grease. Sound right? Happens to be cheaper than the grease at Tractor Supply.

4. I also need grease for everything else on the tractor. Will Kubota's non-moly grease do it? I have a tube of John Deere NLGI-1 I haven't used. Don't know if it's appropriate.

I have a milling machine that takes NLGI-2. I was hoping not to have three grease guns.
You’re using grease on a milling machine?
I’ve only ever seen and used way oil going back to the mid 70’s in high school. It’s basically a gear lube. The gun was stupid expensive.

The head calls for NLGI-2 grease.

If your tractor will not start but you can wiggle the hydro-stat pedal back and forth and get it to start then here is your problem. The cut out/safety switch is located up underneath the tractor by the pedal toward the rear tire. That switch can fail by the tabs that hold the cover on it letting go. This lets the switch move within the case its in. Either replace the switch or pull it off and repair it. I used JB weld epoxy to keep it in place. Put it back on and no problems now for months.

1) There is no zerk on the treddle pedal. I give mine a shot of spray lube a couple of times a year.

2) Same as #1. Mine has no boot, never did.

3&4) Don't agonize over the type of grease, just hit all of the zerks every 10 hours. Don't forget the one on your steering knuckle under the front end.
Strange you say no zerk on the treddle pedal. My L3400 has 2 plus one on the clutch pedal. Not saying you're wrong, only that some models do have zerks. I will add, those 3 zerks are not easy to see. I have to use a flashlight to see mine.
