Hello,
I am Larry Davis . I bought a new Farmtrac 545 2wd tractor last year and have had hydraulic failure twice ,both times in cold weather. I ran across this site while searching for a cure for the 3 point lift not working . I also was trying to cross reference oil and hydraulic filters to a more readily found brand ( ,fram ,wix, napa, etc. ). I am very pleased with all the other workings of the tractor so far . I have 50 hrs. on it now. I was most impressed when it cranked when the temperature was 6 degrees one morning and I had to put out a roll of hay for the cattle. It does not any source of heat other than the glow plug ,it did grind a short while but finally cranked ,I gues is the norm for a diesel.
