How about certain TBN members in swimsuits? I'm sure that would make a good conversation piece around the office. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree with you good photography is an important part of a quality calendar...as a printer/graphic artist for the last 41 years, let me note...what most people don't realize is you also need quantity as well as quality to make this project affordable and pleasing.

Calendars because of the quality expected, number of pages, collating and special bindings, are one of the more expensive pieces to produce.

According to the main page TBN now has 15634 Registered Users if we can get somewhere in the 33.3% range of members/copies sold, I see this as a viable project.

I hereby "O-Fish_Ally" will offer my services/talents (Free of Charge) and my contacts (for discount pricing) if the "admins" deems this project worthwhile.

Then, as I see it, it will be up to all the rest of the TBN'rs to generate enough interest/sales to make this "Gem of the TBN" happen. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was hoping cost wouldn't be prohibitive, maybe we can get enough people on board.

If the tractor companies are anything like the car companies, you will have to pay a royalty to them if you use a picture of there product in a for profit project. I learned about this when I was at the Carlisle Flea market last spring. The fellow next to me made poster boards of owners car pictures and listed the "options, etc" at the bottom of the picture. He was shut down until he signed a contract with the car manufacturers over the use of there trademarked images. I am not certain of all the details, but I know that the big 3 are very aggressive about enforcing there copyrights. I do know that the big 3 have brought a lot of business to a screeching halt when it comes to placing images of vehicles on things such as tee shirts, etc. Just something to clear with the legal department before you go down this road. It can get expensive quickly if you get on the wrong side of big business.
I just found this text from a company that custom makes items for sale on the INTERNET. In one of there prohibitions of material that they will produce for a customer is as follows:

( NO pictures or photographs of products (such as automobiles or toys). Even if you own a product, trademark laws still prohibit you from selling merchandise that features pictures of it. For example, you cannot take a picture of your car and then sell t-shirts or mugs with that picture. ).
