Hay elevator size

   / Hay elevator size #11
I grew up around a 16 ft elevator with an electric motor, the work great and no tractor needed. The only thing is you can't use it for feed/grain. However for the height you are referring to it should work out well for you. Another advantage of those 16 ft with electric motor elevator s is you can set the elevapor flat on the ground and move the hay across the ground. An example of this application would be like if you started stacking hay in a shed and it is like 25-30 feet from the door to the back of the shed. Instead of carrying the bales, just set the elevator flat on the ground and let the elevator do the work. If I were you, a 16 ft with an electric motor would be my choice.
