Hello from Guatemala

Hola. I am an guatemalan Forester, mostly rubber and I use a John Deere 5715 for hauling rubber, mowing between the rows, some roadwork, occasional hole drilling & various rescues of other vehicles. The tractor is generally good and with 1350 hours in three years has low hours. The most important thing for us is to get the rubber out to the factory on time and the 4x4 comes in really handy in the rainy season here. Iｴm currently looking for a new rotary cutter as the one that came with the tractor was pretty flimsy. Here i have large stumps and thick growth so Iｴm looking for a heavy duty: Bush Hog, Woods, Land Pride or something like that I would appreciate any comments or wisdom on those brands I need a 60 or 72 inch wide unit max.

Bush hog makes some heavy duty units. Another heavy unit is Rhino. Welcome & good luck. Drop into the rural living forum, they guy's would be happy to hear from you.

Welcome aboard. All the brands that you mentioned in your initial post are good rotary cutters. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the welcome & yr info on the cutters.. Next step will be to find a dealer near me..(Fla, Ca. Tx.??) and check out some prices.. Woods is sold here in Guatemala but the BB720X rotary cutter goes for $ 7,000.00 US I think it´s kind of pricey but then again the dealer have to make a buck and the shipping + taxes etc.. so I want to compare.. Regards
