Steve,
I checked under the hood and unable to locate 30 amp fuse. Also looked in the B2150 operator's manual and only see two 15 amp fuses and the fuseable link listed.
However, there is an "engine stop solenoid" and an "engine stop timer relay" showing in the operator's manual wiring diagram.
Do you have a B2150??

Don't know if this will help, but it may simplify. Strip off everything you can (deck, bagger, hood, all the covers. This may help you locate the fuse (or... perhaps smoked?/cut harness)

Eureka! Problem solved. The 200 amp fuse link was in fact burnt at the base of the loop. Also, there was a wire from the clutch safety switch rubbed bare. It is the switch that the clutch activates when the clutch pedal is depressed. The steering arm has a nut with a cotter (sp?) pin. The wire had gotten hung up on the pin and apparently shorted out. I have no idea why the fuseable link burnt when I tangled with the rope. But whatever the case, the tractor is now alive and well again.
THANKS FOR ALL THE "HELP"!

Last time I used a knife to get a rope untangled from a snow blower it was a trip to the ER for stitches! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif The Nurse called it "dumb after dark".
