We are getting a good shot of snow today. I hope to get some pix for everyone. We're getting Thunder Snow at rates of 2" per hour. They forcast 15"-18" within the next 12 hrs.

Here's some of our commercial equipment that we got ready yesterday. L to R Case 580L 12' pusher, Case 580M 12' pusher, Case 521 wheel loader 14' pusher, Case 721 wheel loader 16' pusher.

HC, it looks like the 721 could use some tires. Doesn't this hamper you somewhat with the snow removal? Also I noticed the backhoes are really sticking up high. Are there places you plow that you have to worry about striking something with the hoes? Not criticizing as I think you have some nice equipment, I'm just curious. Stanley

Pic was before new boots on the 721. Here they are to the tune of $10k.
As for the hoes, can't lower them without unlatching them from transport mode. To answer your Q though, no, there is no conflict with where they push. Grocery stores, Wal-Marts, etc.

Correction, the snow is here! 4.5" in 2.5" hours! Wow. The thunder is pretty cool. Don't get that very often.

Its started here in Macomb Illinois also. I can't say for sure, but probably an inch or two an hour.

I'm leaving Monday for a snowmobile ride in Matane (Quebec) they just had a major storm two days ago, and now there are expecting 24 inches more. It's too bad there's only a place for my snowmobile and not for the tractor!
Phil

Those's pics were taken yesterday.

Well... 14" of snow, 32 tractor hours, and 3 tanks of fuel later, I'm caught up enough now to rest in time for another storm. 8"-14" more. :mur:

Unless anyone is using that trailer atm I suggest "they" simply wait for the snow to melt in April

Some people will complain about anything! Lol! Just kidding! While I enjoy removing snow with my tractor, I don't think I'd want to spend 32 hours doing-so. But then again, if I had a heated cab with some tunes I probably wouldn't mind it so much. When I used to groom snowmobile trails, our groomer was well equipped and I didn't mind grooming. That is, until the skid got stuck. Have fun! :)

Really can't complain. I was pretty tired when I wrote that. I really do love pushing snow. :cloud9: It's coming down again now. Big heavy and wet. 6" so far this morning. Still got about six more hours till it tapers off. Then another 1"-3" this evening and another 1"-3" tonight. Definitely gonna have to do the air seat like 4shorts. My back and neck will thank me.

I know what you mean! I love being outdoors no matter what it is I'm doing. Pushing snow is just another one of those fun things to do. We are just now starting to see the storm that is finally leaving your area. We are only suppose to get about 6" tonight/tomorrow and that will allow me to get some more seat time. The lower portion of the State is gonna see some rain along with heavy wet snow. I can do without the rain, as I spent the whole day today chopping ice. Doing pretty good though, as I only fell twice. :ashamed: My old body can't take too much more of that! I think the air seat is a great idea!
