As stated, NO. My BX2230 hour meter is electric and records actual hours the key is on. I suspect all the Kubota BX's are the same. If you don't have a tachometer you probably have an actual hour meter. If your hour meter is part of your tachometer it is most likely a hours at specified revolution meter.
