Now that's an interesting take on this. I paid EXTRA to get these arms! I've learned from this site that a best practice is to leave the balls pinned onto the various implements. That would certainly prevent them from falling out![]()
I recall balls for quick hitches for a Deere CAT II quick hitch --I have some of these balls in the barn--and these are to allow the quick hitch to function by just backing into the implement. These may be different from generic lift balls that go into the arms. I recall they had a small "boss" on each sides of the ball. I will locate this morning and post some pics. I think I also have some lift arm link balls so I'll photo those as well. Let's see if my memory serves me correctly.
If you posted a pic of your lift arms I think it would be helpful.
