well, how low does your 3 point go to the ground when there are no implements on? With my yanmar, it only gets down to about 4 inches at its lowest point so having it 6 inches off the ground makes it a bit difficult to use a ground engaging implement (boxblade) sice the 3 point is limiting your digging depth. With my middle buster/subsoiler i just shorten the toplink and put the end that attaches to the tractor on the lowest hole on the top link bracket connected to the tractor. This has worked well for me. My middle buster is kinda tall, even on the 3720 which can only pick it up about 4" off the ground.
