How do you store you logging/tow chain?

I keep my chains nestled in the pockets of the loader brackets on my JD145 Loader which lives on the JD820 Diesel. On the left are a short chain (3/8") with a swivel hook rated at 4T and another piece of 7' chain with grab hooks at both ends. The right side bracket holds a 15' 3/8" Grade 70 binder chain. During the Winter, I keep another 20' Grade 70 on the counterweight bucket top. There's also a 25' 5/8" chain for more serious "problems" that lives on the weight bucket year 'round. I'll put up some snaps tomorrow once finished plowing. Again.

I do the same with painting my chains after losing a brand new one the day I got my `Tangerine-dream`.:grumpy: Haven`t lost one since.
For stowing chains I made up a simple wooden box that sits on the FEL frame right in front of the clutch pedal. Bolted to the sheet metal of the floor-boards. It`s completely out of the way, has drain holes in the bottom but would be easy enough to put a lid on it. For my tool-box, ,I made a simple tray for the box to sit in. On the underside is a couple of ears` or slot which jambs down over the FEL frame to hold it in place. Both work like a charm!

I had seen this idea posted on this site before, PVC pipe fashioned to carry chain. I liked the idea, so I modified it to suit my needs. I have a BX25, a small tractor, and while I may not have a use for the amount of logging chain as some, I quickly realized the use for chain in most any hauling chores with this little tractor.
I fastened it to the FEL post. There is a small hole already there that I used. Since I have a cap on mine, I did not drill drainage holes in the bottom cap of the PVC pipe. I keep 3 small chains in one of the pipes, gloves, a 25' tape, and a roll of flagging tape in the other.
On my rear blade, I made a small one to carry a small level and a wrench.
I really like this forum and I get a lot of ideas. I appreciate everyone's advise and expertise.

I put 3/8" 14' chains in large coffee cans on floor board...
Not the most safe, but handy & cheap

After reading the many ideas here, intend to put pvc pipes on loader for them..

Our B2320 has similar holes in the loader mounts but I wasn't sure how to get mine mounted without having to take the loader off to get access, and that sure seems like a lot of trouble for the outcome, so I have to ask, was that how you got the bolt into yours?
Or was there some other method you used??

I just scored a basket ball post that a neighbor had in our business complex. 5 minutes after checking out this post (no pun intended). I am going to see if I can fix it up to work on the FEL mount. Wow, timing is everything!

The hole(s) in my support arms of the FEL of my BX25 were already there, and very easy to get at. I did not have to remove anything. In the pictures I attached, I tried to show how I attached the PVC pipe. There was only one hole on each side. If you can't make out how I attached mine, send a reply and I will post a more detailed picture or pictures of what I did.
