Very nice pic's. Wish we had that snow down here in southern New England. Last storm brought the liquid stuff, but looked like the northern half of VT and NH got the white stuff.

The blower is 54" wide, and seems a good match for my tractor. I could lug the tractor down a bit in the really wet snow we have here after the past couple of days. I cleared a road to my shed, and went through the snow banks from all the storms so far, etc. with no problems. It's nice to be able to lift the blower a couple of feet to tackle higher banks, etc. too. I paid $2460 for the blower, more than some places, but I do know this dealer will stand behind what he sells.

The last storm dropped 3" of wet snow here, the one before that was 8"-10" depending on where you measured. I guess we have a spell of colder weather coming so that should freeze the ground where I have it cleared, and make it easier not to damage in the future. I used my loader to clear the snow yesterday, and did take a couple of small "beaver pelts" where the ground was uneven.

This was a couple of days ago here...

Nice tractor and snowblower. I probably wouldn't have had time to take pictures, I would be out blowing snow in the whole county.;)

Glad it worked out for you.

P.S. What model tractor do you have? Edit: never mind, I see in your sig it is a 2620. Very nice.

Yes, they finally had a load of other things coming this way I guess. I'll let you know how I like the open station thing. :D I have a friend that bought a John Deere walk behind snowblower years ago. It would run fine until it snowed, and then he couldn't get it started. The dealer worked on it once, and it ran for a while, and then started doing the same thing again. My friend called them up, and asked them to really fix it this time. He said "If it doesn't run like a Deere when I get it back this time, it's going to run like a Toro". I feel kind of like that with this blower. I'll give it a good try this winter, but if I find the rear mount, or open station doesn't work for me, it will run like a front mounted cab set up next winter. For what little I really have to do it just made sense to try this first. I expect that a couple of neighbors will see it in action too. One close by neighbor is about 70, and she does her 250 ft. drive with a walk behind. I guess her new husband hasn't figured out how to run it yet. :D I've got some Duo Grip v bar chains on the way for the rear, and I think I'll be glad that I have them.

Yeah Chuck - that blower looks really good on there - and I like the fact that you can lift it and chew away at a snowbank. Probably will make short work of your drive during the 2 ft. blizzard we are suposed to get in Feb. - (according to the Farmers Almanac I saw in the barber shop today -haha).

Your gonna need a moose hide - mad bomber hat to go with that thing though!

Well, I'm thinking about going to Kittery later this week so I'll keep my eye out for the Moose bomber. I was in aviation a long time ago so it would be appropriate. I may look at some ski goggles too. What I moved today was so heavy that it would have taken a lot of wind to blow it anywhere!

Be sure to get the goggles with the built -in whippers!:D
My son gave me his goggles he was issued over in Iraq when he got back. Here in MN they really help. It's always windy and cold and i have one glass/plastic eye that freezes in a heartbeat. Talk about ice cream headache!
