Ductape,

I talked to the guys at MB in Tilton, but ended up dealing with Hawkensen's in Plymouth. There is a 5% price on the way, so I needed to find someting in inventory that I wanted, at a price I was willing to pay. I really would like a B3030, but just can't justify it here.

Chuck,
I had looked at the 20 series myself..... they are nice tractor. I delt with Hawkensen's myself. Some good, some bad...... just like MB. Any thoughts on when you'll be getting your new tractor??? Congratulations..... you've been waiting too long !:)

As long as you have a second machine to mow with... I think you made the right decision. Get a good set of chains for the R4's and I think you should be all set. You should end up with the best of most worlds!!!!

The tractor is assembled, but needs to have the loader, and 60"mmm mounted, and the Wallenstein chipper set up for PTO length, etc. I might have it Tuesday, or Wednesday. I need to find a box blade for it, and am thinking a 54" might work well. The dealer had a couple of 05 series Landpride ones in stock, but maybe a full size one would be better. MB had a 48" one in stock but that is probably 1K or so. I've been by the new TSC in Tilton /Franklin but they don't seem to be open yet?

From what i understand, the Tilton Fire Dept. was giving TSC headaches.... so much so that several times TSC was going to back out of Tilton. Apparently the F.D. eased up on them, but the opening had to be pushed back until August. Not sure what the issues were, but i'm glad they finally worked them out. It pushed back the opening about four months.

To be honest for my application and the majority of applications, if your only going to have one set of tires the Turfs are the way to go.

Congratulations and Enjoy your new tractor!
