HOW TO: Adjust the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) on the MF GC 1705/10/15/20

Ordered the gauge so I can routinely check the pressure. Would someone post a pic of where you are connecting the pressure gauge in the FEL system??

I believe the point where gauge connects to test FEL is mentioned in post #1... For FEL it uses one of the 4 output ports for FEL....

Yes but I would still appreciate a photo.....

Just disconnect a hose leading to the loader, plug in the gauge on the tractor side, rev up the engine, activate the loader function, read gauge.

Easy.

Here is our video showing the procedure on a JD tractor, but it’s the same for all colors.

In the video all the hoses to the loader are disconnected. I was wondering if only a single hose was disconnected if fluid could go through that circuit and spray out the single disconnected hose. Could that happen??

Most hoses with quick disconnects have a "ball" seal (or some type of seal) so when disconnected there is no "open hose" for oil to leak out of....

If that were the case you'd get air in the lines and have to bleed the system every time you took the loader off. The hoses are just like the female quick connects for air compressors and close when disconnected.

On a compressor hose the female coupler seals, but not the male part of the quick disconnect.
