Their initial treatment cost is $599. After initial treatment (1 month) they have most of them gone. The $40 is thereafter maintenance. For maintenance, some months they show up, walk around, and leave. Other months they set a trap or two. The cost is worth it to me because the gophers really tear things up. I’ve trapped a few myself, but the company’s reason for success is they seem to have unlimited traps and for initial treatment they set 50-100, depending on the degree of gopher populations. They are so good at what they do, that I gave up on conducting war myself.I can't help but wonder how they make any money at all, checking traps every 3 days, and only charging you $40 a month?
