Last time my land was logged was prior to me owning it in the early 60's as I understand. I have occasionally opened space up or dropped a few here and there. Now it's mostly wind damage clean up like this tree that I just dropped that had broke off in a storm and hung up I needed to drop it for safety purposes. I have about 80 nice mature cedar, fir and hemlock trees standing and then a few maple and alder. I will eventually drop the alder and maple.

I had a 70 foot long pine tree on my property leaning against another tree. I had a pro take it down. They cut 4 foot lengths at a time off the bottom of the leaning pine. I didn't get to see them do it. I would have loved to see it.
