A window so you can more easily see your implements from the seat. Also has them in front by feet for seeing fel attachments.

Update.

One Kubota dealer an hour away had a used Kubota 3560 cab in my price range, but the salesman didn't know the history and never bothered to call me back. It is now sold.

Although the TYM cab I've been considering is still in stock, my reservation is that I would be dependent on the TYM dealer an hour away from me for service. The nearest tractor dealer to me that is 30 minutes away services Kubotas and New Hollands, but I suspect won't work on a TYM and for sure won't work on my Mahindra (I've asked).

The other dealer 30 minutes from me is a corporate owned John Deere dealership.

I've looked for an independent tractor mechanic and haven't found one near me.

If the TYM dealer were closer, I would be more inclined to pursue buying a TYM. But the matter of dealer service in my particular geographic area is what is holding me back from buying.

Mine is 80 miles away. There are independent guys around, though.

Maybe you can negotiate more service options or pickup/delivery?

The traffic around Nashville and nearby commuting cities has increased quite a bit. The mileage is part of the trouble. The other part is the traffic while hauling a tractor.

They are offering to include initial delivery in the sale, but still holding to their pricing so far so I don't think they are going to offer extra transportation options beyond the initial delivery. That is the norm around here.

I really don't think the nearest kubota or the JD dealer is ever going to be helpful servicing any other brand of tractor they see potentially eating into their sales. And they may not work on other brands enough to efficiently diagnose and service them.

It can be a pain to get parts for other brands, too.

Basic maintenance is all on me. I will have the time and learning more will help keep my brain from atrophy. I trust in my research that the odds the tractor suffers a failure is low. (Especially something that is due to a defect). I also have the advantage of not needing to pay the bills with the tractor. If I was making a living with it, the proximity of dealer and repair concerns would be more of a factor.

A used tractor dealer further away from me got in a used MX5200 with 242 hours who was willing to give me a trade in allowance on my Mahindra 3525. The service guy at the Mahindra dealer that sold me the Mahindra still wasn't taking calls when I tried them again last week. Had enough of this situation and traded the Mahindra for the MX5200 last week.

The TYM dealer wasn't willing to accept the Mahindra in trade. Can't say I blame him given his business model, but I needed to find a new home for the Mahindra and the trade for the MX5200 took care of that problem.

I have a T474, to date I've never "needed" the dealer, I do absolutely ALL my own service on it. I buy my filters/oils whenever possible off course to support the dealer, they have been good to me on parts ordered that I've installed myself like 2nd rear remote etc. I'm at 395h now with no problems, and mine is an HST. I mow fields and pastures as a side gig. But congrats on the MX5200, hard to go wrong with.

Unfortunately, no. It has the sync-shuttle and it makes it harder to find the right balance of ground speed and RPM. Low range seems too low and high range seems too high to me on this machine so far as mowing is concerned.

Mowing for hire and mowing 400+/- acres a year.....no way would I be without HST.

You can leave RPM where you want....and have the perfect ground speed EVERYTIME.

But I am sure you will make it work. HST or Gear, the MX is a nice machine

That is the problem i had on my 3 different geared machines, never the right speed , HST is wonderful.
