Derek, my HTL is 21 inches retracted and my stock TL is also 19-1/2 like yours. In my opinion, the HTL is much better if it is shorter than the original TL. I cannot get my boxblade to come completely level or tilt slightly forward because my toplink is just a bit too long. When fully extended with a boxblade, the bottom of the blade rotates so far forward that it will actually rub on the tractor's rear tires. I don't need that much extension. If I were you, I'd certainly go with the shorter toplink. After all, how many implements do you have that require your standard TL to be extended all the way? I think the HTL from CCM looks pretty good. If I had it to do all over again, I'd give them a call.
