I measured my top link range and it is 17 to 27-3/4".
I'm thinking I need model 6002 16 1/8 in. to 22 7/16 in.
You don't want to measure or order the top link in that manner. Attach an implement and level it with the top link in it's working position. Now measure the length of the top link center to center of each pin. That will give you a working length and you'd want a hydraulic top link to have some inches of throw either side of your measurement.
So if you are currently close to 17 inches with an implement then you are probably right on the 16 inch model but you'll know more with a better starting measurement.
Most stock LS top links are too long to start with and offer little to no retraction.
