Why, John_Bud, you know what I did as a 6th generation Texan, concerned about the environment and comitted to the preservation of the land and its productivity and maintence so that I and my heirs may enjoy its fruits!
I'll try to post the images here.... they only show part of the problem... think about using this filter to suck up fluid... when there were mayonaise-like clumps of stuff clung to it.. they have since glooped off or dried out...
James, a big thanks to you for your help in taking the whole thing apart and putting it back together again... and the great photos!
john_bud, you should have seen him, up to his elbow in the tank, cleaning out what was still in there. My comment was, "Yuck!"
And then, he raised up and said, "There's a piece of metal in there!" The magnet was, apparently, stuck to the bottom until he got part of the gunk cleaned out so it could fall off.
I try to spend one day a week out "at the ranch" with John. If one of us (his BBQ buddies) doesn't go out, then he tends to goof off and not get any real ranchin' done. After that, I think I'll duck and run. Hope John doesn't see this before BBQ on Friday.
