I believe it was a color thing with the black Por 15. That color absorbed uv rays rather well and it disintegrated the product. I painted one of my vehicle chassis w black POR 15 and it lasted a year. I did not think to top coat it

I would not have thought that a vehicle chassis would get much, if any UV exposure. Maybe some reflective, but to destroy the coating in a year?
I'm wondering if something went wrong in the prep, that could have resulted in the coating flaking or peeling. Did you contact POR15 regading this?

No I did not contact the company. I scraped off the big rust flakes and according to the product sig, "painted over rust". I did no prep after that so it could be user error.
Only other things I can think of are two: 1. I did a lot of welding while the vehicle was in the garage while welding and 2. We have a "crushed stone" driveway landing and the stones being light in color, reflected quite abit of light up into the chassis.

They should have named it POPR 15.

I have the 10 ft HD, 2 spindle. Bought it used and have used it to cut hundreds of acres. Very, very good finish when properly setup.

You stuck it well, friend.

Had LS P7010C for 8 years, never stuck. Last year, stuck it 2x. About like you did. Required another tractor of equal size to get me out.
