My favorite attachment that I have made is the QC. It makes it so fast to change out attachments.

Next favorite in the root ripper. I have used this the most so far and it is a beast. I have been clearing a fence line with it and I am supper happy with how it is performing.

Next I made a 16" bucket. I have a 10" bucket that really but that does not do good to dig a very big hole. (Note 16" bucket is a factory option for the CB65 backhoe)

Then I made a lift attachment. I have a QC and switch to this under one min so think it will be useful for some projects. I also welded a hook on my factory bucket.

The last project was for a smaller bucket to dig gutter drainage trenches. I made a 6" bucket.

If you are wondering total cost here it is.
I have $160 in steel from a steel surplus shop. (I still have some left for other projects)
Bucket teeth and extra DIY pins for each attachment was $90
Total cost was $250 for all attachments. The backhoe is a very expensive attachment and I want to make it as useful as possible.

I think that is it for for making stuff for my backhoe. I may make a ballast box over the summer.

Thanks, I am a YouTube welder (I am still learning) and I cut everything with a porta band saw, Jig saw and angle grinder.
My father-in-law lent me his drill press. I cut the bucket brackets then tack weld them together and shape them. I drill them together so they lineup.
The drill press is a must to drill through two 3/8" steel brackets.

Awesome job! I was just getting ready to put my rock rake on my hoe so I could do some clean up in our neighborhood ditch...if I get a pic I’ll post it up I’m sure it will look funny!

Someone asked how much I saved over just buying these items I made. That question encouraged me to do the math.
They do not offer most of these for my tractor except the 16 bucket.
But I can find similar products at Bxpanded. This is not exact but close.
They don't sell a lifting attachment but the receiver is similar in materials.
