Rear Blade I nearly forgot. Pictures of my landpride RBT3584

No, the stroke on the 40 series is 16". Other than that, same diameter cylinder and pin size.

When I read this I thought I remembered it differently so I looked back at the electronic manuals/specs from 2011.
Do not know what LP is putting on today but then the tilt cylinder was different between the 35 and 40. 2” X 6” X 1 1/4” vs 3” X 6” X 1 1/4” (2 inch vs 3 inch bore)
The angle and offset cylinders were the same except for the stroke length as stated by Brian.

ordered the rbt3584 and the angle and offset hydraulics from Brian.

And the manual rear wheel.

The dealer made it a lot of work to order the rear blade even though I was paying full price, plus assembly, plus shipping. Don't understand why, and I sure wish I had had another local option.

I don't get it either,:confused2: does no one need to sell anything to make a living? I have actually checked with Land Pride about becoming a dealer, no deal, Kubota has the dealership for this area is what I was told. :mur:

That's too bad, you know a thousand times more about the landpride equipment than I do, and Ii seem to know a whole lot more than any dealer I've talked with.

Congrats on the new blade, despite the hassle, it will be well worth it in the end!

I priced a new hydraulic setup for my offset cylinder on a 4096, and it was double the price from landpride as the better quality

That sounds like the dealers around here. I like supporting the local guys, but they don't seem to appreciate my business. If ever I have to buy another tractor, it may come from out of state.

I have two 'bota dealers within 30 miles of me. I bought my tractor from one, my implements and maintenance items (filters oil etc) from the other. In this case, both dealers offer good service so it comes down to who ever gives me the best price. Funny how that works. But what's really funny is the fact that the dealer that I bought my tractor from, while giving me the best price on my tractor, is exactly double the price on the maintenance items of the other place.
I don't get it.

Got my rbt3584 this morning.

Ordered it without offset and angle and I bought a pair of cylinders from Brian. His cylinders came well packed looking well made and even included spare pins and clips which is a great touch as I am sure I'll have one disappear at some point.

I'd love pics of how folks have done the hoses that work out best in terms of full movement, not catchin on things etc. The pic that came with the hyrdaulics show the ports on the outside which I like the idea of, but mine came with ports up.

So what seems to work best? The OP's offset had hose connection facing eachother (on top) and the angle looked to be both pointed to the side (same direction as hoses).

A dumb question: can I move the cylinder before I attach the hoses to make it the right length to fit on the blade (I an thinking the angle hydraulic, the offset was easy to move the whole blade) or do I need to attach the hydraulics first to extend the shaft to attach it?

Here's a pic of on of the cylinders on my new blade.

Since you bought the cylinders from Brian I will defer to him for the answer to your question.
What I will tell you is that when I got my RBT4096, used, to ensure that I did not contaminate my hydraulics I did a thorough cleaning/flushing of the old oil from the cylinders and hoses and it involved multiple movements of the cylinders full range without any problem at all not connected to anything other than a drain bucket.

Here is a set showing the routing on mine. Came this way works well.

txs for the posting and pics. Great idea flushing your cylinders and in fact if I had been thinking I would have held off replacing my hydraulic oil and filters which I did very recently. Should have waited another week and done it after the new cylinders. Although I would guess the new cylinders should be fairly contaminant free.

I may consider flushing my cylinders a little with some of the used hydraulic oil I took out (which looked great, btw) just on gp.

Yes you can move the cylinders without having the hoses attached, you will need to take the plugs out though. I would point the 90s at each other, run the hoses to meet at the center of the cylinder and then run them up along the boom through the hitch and up to the female couplers together. Do the same thing for both cylinders. This keeps the hoses together & neat.

Try routing them a few different ways and see what looks like works best. Seems like everyone has a different idea of how this should be done. Plus your hoses are not a mile long like the LP hoses are. So you can only do so much. ;)
