I am sorry I got off target at all in this, it is about Titan. I am totally fine with Titan and yes we did get to test fit the replacement mounting plate and it fits fine.
No way can I speak on Titan other than one purchase and no idea about previous products. No idea what products they may make or buy. The local dealer I use, bought my first rear blade from them, proved to be very poor quality. My 27 hp tractor bent it terribly. Was rated for think, about 50hp tractor. It was not made by dealership that sold the blade but they refunded cost of blade. Went on to spend many thousands of dollars with them since then. No doubt they had other bad parts or repair work they did that was not good. But for near 20 years and many times have been very good for me. The more any company sells or repairs or whatever they will have defective parts or bad repairs. As has been said by others it is how they handle such.
Now to the process the company I worked for used, we only built parts for OUR use. Many parts were bent such as these plates not aware of any jig or another other method to hold a part being used for bending. Did not work with the brake but think they used tape measure to set stops for those bends. Easy to read a tape wrong. Many items were as larger and much larger than one of these mounting plates. We did use jigs for parts that were assembled to be welded. I have no idea the type of company you work in or did and really not interested in getting into a side bar here on the process a company does or does not use. No one system is the best for all industries nor all companies in "a" industry, I doubt. This imperfect person does not expect another person or company to be perfect. Rather deal with an imperfect company or person who makes mistakes buts corrects them than to work with a so called perfect company or person. Sorry for the rudeness, not perfect here.
