Rotary Cutter I Need Your Input on Rotary Cutters Please!

Soundguy I got mine 1.5 to 2 years ago, I checked they are up to 60 bucks. Here is the link. I get stuff from these guys all the time no problems so far. ORC's are still starting at 45.95

Wow.. good price. I wonder what their capacity is. The links to the 63 and 68 dollar unit had no pics or stats.. just said they had a 1 3/8-6spline end.. but didn't mention the other end or torque limit.. still not a bad price..

I contacted my dealer and he sent me the rubber sheilds without hesitation or complaint. I now have in writing that the warranty on the gearbox is 5 yrs. despite what the sticker says (and Woods confirms it) I have mowed over 15 acres with excellent results. Horsepower has not been an issue. My only problem is that the tractors link rods from the hydraulic arms to the straight arms seem too long even after adjustment. I end up mowing at #4 on a scale of 1-5 and can only raise it by 1 (to #5) for transport. I do tighten up the top link for transport to get the rear cutter wheel up higher but wish I could use more of the hydraulic arms' excursion to get the front edge of the cutter deck higher (again for transport). I cannot get to the fields on the other side of my property currently because the front edge of cutter deck hits the center muck of the rutted road to the other side. Can they really just be too long?
