Still running great. I have around 20 hours of hard running on it since the rebuild.

Company I bought the pistons from doesn't reply to any emails or Facebook posts, buyers beware! They asked me for detailed pictures of the piston failures and they received.

I don't really care about the money which was around $600 bux. Just warning you good folks to beware of aftermarket parts. I'm in the automotive business and have seen junk parts for many many years so I should have known better.

I learned that lesson with a Chinese (racist) aftermarket clutch.

I will buy external aftermarket parts again, but NOT internal aftermarket parts!

Fred, if your blower is not throwing the snow very far and plugs easy, perhaps you have too much clearance on the fan blades. My 48" blower on my Gravely was only throwing snow about 10 feet, I bolted some pieces of tire tread (cut 3 pieces roughly 4"x6" and bolted to fan blades so it just contacts the blower housing).. It will blow snow 60' now.

Instead of tire tread, I lined the blades with 1/8" thick UHMW-PE. Super slick, so blades don't clog with snow, even the mushy stuff. Simply fit the pieces so they rub, or nearly so, the blower housing.

Hey, The Fred, morning.... OK, I'm thinking your life would be REALLY miserable if you didn't have THAT tractor to pick on.... Some things do provide solace, in strange ways...
I take out the garbage using my Cub Cadet 1046 lawn "tractor" ...
