Jim, that thing is going to be a MONSTER!! And HEEAAVVYYYYY. It will look mean as ....., but funny when you can only carry 60 lbs. with it.

Do you have the dimensions for the tine teeth, what was the steel that you used, I see you wrote 5/16" T-1, what is T-1.
I have purchased a John Deere 245 loader, have the hydraulic cylinder, grapple (4) just missing the tine teeth. John Deere want $1200.00 new, made up ones are going for about $800 and to have them cut will cost $600, using grade 80 and 1/2" steel. The spacing between the grapple are about 20", I am planning on welding steel in between the tines.
