I had the same issue, so I changed my screen resolution. Now I can't read the small typeface, but the picture fits /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Guess I 'll go back to the original resolution and install a folding ROPS on my desk chair in case I turn this thing over trying to scroll back and forth all the time /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If I put a ROPS on my desk chair, can I drill it to install a cup holder and speakers for my computer? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Only if you have a noise decibel check and wear double hearing protection. You must also have an annual hearing test.

It might help if you "lose" a couple of tool bars /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. Other wise, this just gives you justification with the CFO to up grade to a 42" flat screen plazma that mounts on the wall!!

The easy solution is if people don't post such large pictures!!!!! As for a larger monitor, I just isn't going to happen..... there isn't enough room on the desk as is, and a larger monitor means that something else will have to go. This has been an ongoing debate with the wife for over a year so far, and I am winning the battle of the computer table. If I concede defeat now, what will be next????? the garage??? the tractor???? the 4 Bolens tractors????? the 5 Corvairs???? the 3 dogs??????? the garage??????? ..... get the picture..... you never concede anything to the wife, because once you do, it is all downhill from there.... I know what I am talking about!! Give them an inch and they will want a mile!!!! 17" monitor is as big as it gets!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I can't believe I'm the only one to see the "non-controversial" solution to your problem.

When you finally realize that you need a tractor with lights, and we know you will sooner or later, that's the time to buy your "inclement weather" tractor. I'm thinkin' an L5030 cab unit with enough lights on it to pass as a UFO!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only absolute requirement about pictures is the size limit. The two recommendations about pictures are;

1. Do not post inline pictures, in deference to those whose connect with modems.
2. If an inline picture is used, resize the picture to 640 x 480 so people do not have to scroll left and right to see all of it.

I have 'fixed' the previous inline picture. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Flat screan syncMaster 213T is what sets on my desk now
8 in deep at the bottom 1 1/2 at the top not very large to set on the desk
and it just looks soo nice

Na this is one of those threads that will hibernate for a while then every so often a new group of enthusiastic tractor lovers will wanna drill their ROPS and revive the thread. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Then all of the old timers (not meant to indicate anyones age, just seasoned TBN veterans) will add their 2 cents in again and reminisce about the old days when it appeared you actually could choose (i.e. present day).

The final posting will take place in 2009 with someone sharing their story (from prison) about drilling their ROPS in 2006 and getting caught by the ROPS police!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At that time of course the thread will be in real time video so you will be able to see his pinstripes.
