Here is what I used. From Home Depot:

3" steel wheel casters 300 lb each.
5/16 carriage bolts at 3.5"
5/16 nuts and locking washers.
2x6 lumber

I may end up adding plywood to the top, we will see.

The largest dolly is for my Grapple (920#) ..it is 6 wheels. The "T" shaped one is for my rear blade (700 #). The smallest one is for whichever of the bucket or PFs are not on the tractor. I know...pallet forks really? Probably didn't even need the last one, but thought it might have other uses as well.

I used the 4 carriage bolts to secure each caster. I had to cut a few of them to ensure the wheel rotated fully.

I am considering one for my Backhoe, but at 2200# it seems a bit much to have to wheel around. We will see how it goes over the next year.

I built one for my back blade, 7 footer. I found that I don’t want any weight in the middle, so I put 1x4 raised strips on the ends. That keeps the weight over the wheels, lessens the chance that it will sag in the middle.

Here is a neat idea for forks:

And set the bucket on this one when using the forks:

Finally built a dolly for my Mahindra Max28XL MB63 Backhoe. Drop the boom so the dolly catches the bucket, it self centers. A little down pressure, pull the pins from the backhoe/tractor mounting plate, Raise the boom, dropping the entire unit. Support arms keep the stabilizer legs from "drooping" over time...

Tiller dolly. Tiller weight is on the side skids. Tillers tend to be front heavy, so I wanted to be able to back up over the dolly, and set it down. So I made the front uprights foldable by welding a hinge onto them.

Box Blade Dolly. 1 1/2" Square tube. 1.5" wider than the box blade. Used angle iron to align it, and keep it level for easy attachment.

Sprayer Dolly. Lifts it up for easy connection The easiest of all to build. Used Angle iron to accept the round tube base of the sprayer

I havent really felt a strong need for a series of dollies but this one is pretty cool. Maybe all the matching OEM paint is just too convincing.

Is it top heavy?

My cheap, scrap barn wood and 2x6 box blade dolly.

The only thing I bought to build it, were the 5", 450 pound rated casters:

Works with the rippers up or down:

No Kidding. I thought I was being slick when I screwed four 4” casters on the bottom of the big pallet my 84” tiller came on and bought a few of the HF furniture dollies to set other implements on.
