Well, I finally took delivery on my L3560 LE. Had to wait a month or so for the R4 wheels and rear remotes to arrive at the dealer, but I am very happy now that it is here! As a tractor greenhorn, I really appreciate all the advice and experienced you all have been sharing here on the forum. I'm looking forward to many years of rewarding tractor time!

Scott - I just reread all the posts here. You are considering getting a grapple. BEFORE you get the grapple - modify your grill guard. Sticks, stobs, limbs, etc have a nasty way of causing damage to your grill, radiator or battery. This is my Land Pride SGC 1560 grapple and modified grill guard.

Nice looking country. Nice looking tractor. Nice looking Gooseneck trailer. All looks good to me. Congratulations. Keep the ROPS up, seat belt snug, fuel clean, and dust out of the radiator. Enjoy your new best friend.

I like a box blade. I know a lot of people like wheel weights. But I have found them to be hard to find, very expensive weight, difficult to manage if you want to remove them or put them back on, and may not be needed with liquid in tires and an implement on the 3 pt.

If you are going to spread gravel a box blade is very handy. If you do road work, then you will most likely also move gravel in the bucket, meaning that you will need the implement on the 3pt for ballast. Your loader and a blade will work well together. On hills, you may want to keep it in 4wd a lot. Ballast on hills is really important.

Few things in life bring joy like seeing the country side between the ears of a horse or the arms of a FEL. Enjoy.

Do you all find Titan implements like these to be of good quality? I don't want to over-spend for overkill.....I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
Titan implements is an importer, mostly of cheaper Chinese stuff. They played off of the name of Titan Attachments (recently changed their name to Ironcraft). Iron craft is made in US and is actually a manufacturer. They sell through many dealerships ( many still labeled as Titan). I personally would not buy from the importer just based on the way they handled branding.

Congrats on a nice looking tractor. You will never be sorry you got the bigger machine.

I've had my tractor for 5 months now, and I love it. Not many things better than tractor time, in my opinion. I installed a hydraulic top link today (why didn't I do that 5 months ago?......) Anyway, my wife wants me to keep the grass shorter in the field (which translated means I get to buy a new attachment :) ). Which do you think is the better option between a 5' and a 6' rotary cutter for my Orange L3560?? Seems like most 6' models I have seen recommend 40+hp. I will likely only cut a couple times per year, and there is no need to cut wet grass....here in the Texas hill country things do not stay wet for long. My ground is rocky and uneven, and only ~10 acres of my property is flat enough to mow. Thanks.
