Injector problem?

If an injector goes, what would be the symptoms?

Tractor won't start.
Tractors rpm wants to run away.

You would have a miss, the same as as a shorted spark plug in a gas engine. Check by loosening each injector line while the engine is running, the same as removing each spark plug wire on gas. Hope this helps. Ron.

Because that was the over the phone diagnosis of the problem. Engine started clattering away, lost almost all power. Was entertaining getting it on the trailer to go to get fixed. Not convinced myself, but Kioti pays for what ever it is.

Tractor would start, no runaway, never heard a miss like that. No experience with diesel problems, so I dunno. 100 hrs.

Broken valve, #1 cylinder, tractor was delivered but I wont see it for a couple of weeks, hope it is fixed. Kioti pays the bill, except for pickup and delivery.

Sorry to hear that it broke, but at least they are going to fix it. How far away are they? Maybe yours is just an isolated case.
