The real concern is your average driver who looses control of their vehicle, perhaps when there's snow on the road. If they hit a solid object that you purposefully put next to the road and are injured or killed, then you may be in for a big lawsuit. And you may also feel real bad about it - I would. )</font>
I still think it is stupid. If they run into your tree are you liable then? What about telephone poles? If you run into one can you sue the phone company? Or lets see, is it the highwqay departments fault if I run into an overpass? Give me a break. Everyone wants to blame everyone else for something. I say put a huge mailbox in and if someone hits it tough. They should watch where they are going.
