The Kubota is mostly in the dry now! My roof of many colors that JB gave to me is all in place. I needed 14' for the back side and there was one red 14', on red 12.6', one tan 12.6' and a tan 6' so, I put the 14' red down, then the two 12' down and cut the 5' one into 2' sections to fill the void. Airplanes my notice but from the bottom everything is white!

My little B7500 is so happy! Ain't done, but the western wall is nearly completely sided (done runned outta screws, the hardware store did too!), only about 2' remains there. Coupled with the fact that 9' has a roof the little 'Bota is sitting in the dry this drizzle filled November day.... It's been just over a year since she's been totally in the dry!

If all goes well I may get some more roofing done over Thanksgiving and the weekend if the weather and deer hunting are on my side. Oh, missed a BIG ONE today.... it never budged after 3 shots... upon final inspection my estimate on yardage was off by a couple hundred YARDS and uphill at that! I had to be drinking...but wasn't! I should be now but I'm not.

It's looking more like a shed everyday, well, everyday that I get to work on the project.

Ain't got a picture of it working, but the 'Bota with the 1006 Woods FEL sure makes it easy to get the metal on the roof. I just put a few sheets on end in the bucket and lift up a few feet where I can reach them from the roof.

I finished the west end today, and few boards on the east end too. Waitin' on a closing to get more metal for the roof, and since the back side is roofed 9' it keeps stuff dry and the west wall will also add to keepin' stuff dry.

Hey! It's coming together. That will keep your tractor in the dry for sure and keep away the sun rot too.

Nice deer. I'd like to hang one just like it. But, the 100lb. doe I killed a few weeks ago is tasting mighty good right now.

So, she comments on the property and now she wants a horse and couple of goats and wouldn't you know it right beside the shed is a perfect place to add a couple of stalls....
I guess it's fence this fall too.

I'm all for the goats. But a horse? Grab your pocket book. My wife was considering getting horses. So she took some riding lessons. After about 4 lessons, the thrill of horseback riding had worn off so she decided we didn't need horses. Oh happy day!

Her family and mine grew up with horses. I'm not crazy about the idea, but what makes momma happy....

I hope to work some on the roof soon. Real estate is kinda picking up a bit, but not where it needs to be, so I am helping seasonal at UPS to help with the bills, Christmas and to shed a few pounds, so time is kinda not on my side. I have real estate things and TV commericals to produce on Saturday morning, family pics on Saturday afternoon and two open houses Sunday and then back to browns on Monday with UPS. I'll figure out how to get a few hours... I plan on picking up some more metal Saturday to have material to work with when I get the time.

At least I'm not doing nothing!
