That "bottom" pic shows how the loose blades can contact each other, and possibly stick throwing the rc out of balance. Thanks

Yes, That is exactly what happened. We have been super busy the last 6 weeks. Ken Sweet
Oops. I remembered incorrectly. I tried to buy a bigger version from Ken but he couldn't ship anything bigger than four or five feet in size.
when you going to have a PHD sale? Seems a bit off season to be selling rotary cutters, I purchased mine in the spring and paid 1200 ish for a RC2060. 800 seems like it would have been a better deal.
I really hoped it would not come to this. I am going to show my bottomThis is the underside of all of this Hawlkine/International series cutters. Notice how it protects the blade carrier in forward and in reverse. In 25 + years, I have never had a blown gearbox or bent output shaft on these International/Hawkline cutters (4-5 or 6 ft). BTW, You get the full 4 ft cut with these machines. They measure about 4 inches wider than 4 ft to accommodate for blade clearance. We do sell Hawkline entry level cutters that weigh much less, where weight is a concern. Ken Sweet
