I'm considering pats easy change system but am wondering if there's a aftermarket trick setup for adjusting the width?

Thanks

Someboby on here sells stabilizer bars that are (apparently) THE thing for that.

I would've gone for them if I didn't already have my HF QH and not really need them.

Since I don't remember who it os, I can't be much more help, except to say that the way I personally would look them up is either to go to and search the advertisers section and/or search members for Mr. Koua, whose signature has the "how to search TBN" reminder link.

You can buy the stabilizer from Pat's for about $20.

Easier than what, turnbuckles? If you don't like them, look into telescopic stabilizers.

Mark Hodge's Stabilworks.com. Oh my! It says that domain is available now. I hope nothing happened to Mark.

Mcaveman my picture wouldnt upload from the ipad but heres an earlier post. #7 has my pics with Stabilzers and Pats. I have/had Pats speader bar but it was bending since it was hitting one of my implements, and you still have to mess with the turn buckles to keep it from swinging, etc. Still kind of a pain in the ...These Stabilizers cured both problems and it only takes seconds to adjust. Mark has excellent craftsmanship, but I understand he's very busy and far behind. Good luck.

I've had a PATS for quite a few years. Love 'em. I use the width adjustment the tractor has...no problems.

There's a good reason why Kubota puts a similar system on the deluxe B's and on up the line. The economy series B's and the BX's with turnbuckles? No way. I've had them. No thanks. Everyone has to find what's right for them and their operation, but I'd not have a small Kubota without these. Life is far, far too short. Best mod, for me, ever.

Email from Mark today:

Mike,
I got real behind on orders; I couldn't fill them as fast as they were coming in, so I took down the website to catch up, and to make some decisions. I can be reached at this email address- markhdg@gmail.
Blessings,
Mark

When you consider how many Kubota B series and BX's there are out there, and the number of guys wanting Mark's upgrade, I can completely understand how swamped he has been these past couple of years. He got so many orders off TBN that his family probably told him to cool his jets, 'cause mama wanted to see her man and the kids needed to know they had a daddy. hahaha.

Probably overwhelmed. Sounds like he's had to pace himself a bit and that's alright, Mark. You do what you gotta do.

Don't forget about the L's unless it's a grand L.
Mark's great to deal with up front about How long you may have to wait for a set.

Not sure what Mark charges, but you can get a set of stabilizers for the L from Kubota for $175 (that's retail, dealer's price may be lower). Wholegoods part # L8430. I have them on my L3200.

For a BX size tractor, I think mine were $130-140 or so.
