Is this acceptable quality on a brand new Kubota?

My former employment was in concrete pumping dealing with long reach booms, some well over 100' in length. Those pieces of steel lay horizontal over workers where failure could be catastrophic. The manufacturers of those booms treat their welds like lives depend upon them, because they do. Welds are ground, practically polished, to profile them to remove stress risers. Granted, FEL may not have the same consequences upon weld failure, but jeeze, aesthetics ought to count for something!

It has turned me into a drunk ... I had a drink on the original post and several during the ordeal ... then a few when He got the news and now I have been drinking just waiting for the pictures ... if he don't post the pictures soon I may miss them in rehab!!!!!!

The new loader was installed today...I had other family things going on and didn't get back until late. I'll get some pics tomorrow in the daylight and try and post some up. I'm glad this is all over.

I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill. Unless you bought the tractor to take to to shows, this stuff to me is a non issue. I care about function more. At the worst I would have asked the dealer for a free can of touch up paint for the wheel.

Ok, if that makes sense for you, lets say he bought it to take to shows, it's his tractor, he can do what he wants with it. all is good.

Hey! If I spend my hard earned money on a quality piece of equipment, I
expect a quality weld !! If your happy with a crappy looking tractor you
buy it. This guy spent a lot of $$ on a tractor and he should be happy with his purchase!
