Hmmm? What is "safe" ?
If it didn't fall on him, was it "safe"? If it didn't explode (assume he is working on or near the gas tank), is it "safe"?
Would I do it? NO! It is not "safe" for me to do.
But I'll bet there are a lot of things that I consider "safe" that others would put in the category of this picture. Maybe no matter what we do it is a matter of how much "risk" we are willing to take. If we miscalulate, then it isn't safe.
Just wondering out loud. I believe it is good to show such pictures. I wonder if this guy thinks this is "safe"? Maybe, or he wouldn't be under there. His experience (if nothing happens) may tell him that it is "safe" and he will (or has in the past) do it again. Lots of maybe's here. Could be he doesn't have the facility or tools to do it any different, but has to get it done. I guess there are no "after" pictures, so assume he survived this one. Will he survive the next? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Will I?
